Board of Education Re-Election Campaign
Educator for Education

After spending 18 years as a stay-at-home mom raising my children in this community, returning to the classroom as an educator gave me a powerful new perspective. I witnessed firsthand how much the world of education had changed—academically, socially, emotionally, and technologically.

This real-world teaching experience has been invaluable to my role as a Board of Education member. I’ve seen the dedication it takes to meet every student where they are—whether that means differentiating instruction, supporting emotional wellness, integrating technology into daily lessons, or collaborating with families to ensure success. I’ve worked closely with administrators, fellow teachers, and parents to build meaningful partnerships that help students thrive.

I also bring a strong understanding of special education—its complexities, its challenges, and the importance of advocating for the individualized supports that make a real difference. Having this inside view of the classroom gives me a unique and necessary lens on the Board—ensuring that our decisions reflect the realities of today’s schools, honor the work of our educators, and keep student needs at the center.
Teachers today work tirelessly to meet the needs of every student—academically, emotionally, and developmentally. As a parent, community member, and Board of Education representative, I have a responsibility to ensure that our educators feel valued, supported, and encouraged. When we lift up our teachers, we lift up our students—and strengthen the foundation of our entire school community.
